Is there more to the website's logo than just a C++ "plus"?

Yes.
The first section signifies whatever has four wheels.
The second section signifies whatever emits light.
The third section signifies whatever can breathe.
The fourth section signifies whatever can swallow twenty one elephants.
The fifth section however, is a mystery.

A plus is what they want you to think it is! It's actually an X which hypnotizes you into believing that it's a plus. Don't tell anyone that I told you this.

The centre block is the windowless hell at the middle of the cube farm, where people who don't study sufficiently are doomed to reside.

We have investigated the cog, it was a massive piece from an old saw trap, we found the recording click

"Hello Bjorn, I want to play a game. You have awarded your employees with less than they deserved, showing no empathy to their faces of weariness. They make your dream come true and today, you will be given the choice to allow them freedom, and learn it's true value. The two cogs (a big "+" like the logo but like this https://www.ecosia.org/images/?q=two%20cogs%20icon#id=CC20F1D5DF81869C3124A50F6BDC54CE07A2D4A0) before you are a reference to the valuable language you present to them as a dull tool for buisiness. your employees are strapped to the corners, and as the cogs churn... so will they. Program into the laptop before you, a software to a standard they were forced to produce, and out the hard drive will come out their key to freedom. Faliure in doing so and... nobody will C++ you or them ever again. Live or die, the choice is yours (plusses begin to slowly turn)"

I’m not sure how you turned this into “abuse Bjarne Stroustrup”.

Bjorn is a Swedish name, came to my head as it is the name of a character from a fictional book I read...
