Forum tags, when properly used, can make a lot of neat and cool things happen.
The BB Code-type tags here aren't as extensive as other places use, nor as vast as HTML tags provide. But the tags here are a nice assortment.

Another FYI, use the preview button a lot. Except for the initial post when creating a new topic previewing what you write lets you clean up your formatting, etc.
Editing the initial post after saving it let's preview work. This is nothing new, the situation's been known for years.
