Lately, this ******* song (and more specifically this chorus) has been being used as the background music for nearly every show in whatever channel this is. It's like some kind of sick joke.
PS: And as I type this, I guess someone went "what the hell" and switched to a butchered splicing of Beethoven's 5th and 9th symphonies.
It seemed like everybody I didn't associate with in highschool (or University for that matter) listened exclusively to a radio station that played that crap 24/7.
though, I have to admit due to one of my closest friends being of the core fanbase of lady gaga I have learned to like at least ONE of her songs due to being forced to listen to it in his car.

I'm also guilty of liking one of her songs: Paparazzi
But, yes, it's rather shameful =(
EDIT:
On the other hand, I'm not ashamed to say I absolutely love Scissor Sisters.
Since we're talking about Lady Gaga... did anyone else besides me realize that Born This Way is a complete ripoff of Madonna - Express Yourself? I swear the similarities between the two songs are astounding. Of course Express Yourself is like a million times better.
I swear whenever I hear "I'm on the right track baby I was born this way" in the back of my mind I also hear "Express what he's got, baby ready or not". They're interchangable.
In fact the more I think about it, Lady Gaga is just the late 200x/early 201x version of late 198x's/early 199x's Madonna - only not nearly as good.
@ne555 Yes, funny enough that is exactly the same way I know about it (except piano), but the video I gave shows it better because it goes through more of the songs that people know. Then you don't sound like the idiot in the room because only a couple people know who Pachelbel is.
Ok now I know who is bieber. Seriously all these musicians come and go. I usually give them 10 years and later and if they are still around creating/making great music would I call them talented. We are so familiar with one-stop or short-term wonder nowadays.
Seriously I feel if gaga is to follow madonna, she still has a long way to go. Madonna is classic! Back in the 80's I heard her songs and till today, she is still around! Her contemporaries like michael jackson is already gone.
Now recently a lot of 80's musicians are touring again and some are coming to my country! Bananarama, Belinda Carlisle, Debbie Gibson, Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, A-ha, Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode etc etc.
Oops... am I revealing my true age in this forum :O
I agree, most don't even get to 5 years, before they start turning out lame songs. The music industry has a very short career span, it's a very tough industry. Especially with piracy nowadays. I think that's why most singers are touring recently, at least with tours they're sure to make money off concerts.
