Wow. I've beaten every quest on my main account and only have 200 hours.

What are you doing for such a long time? :S
Well, I've played through the main quest more than a few times. I've played every side quest at least once. I've explored more than my fair share of caves and temples, and I've messed with a lot of mods. It's weird that I've managed to play it so much considering I usually find 0 replay value in games that have some kind of story.
If you played Oblivion that much it looks like Skyrim might destroy your life :O

I think it will destroy more than just yours though. Someone's gunna' have to drag me out of my room when I get my hands on it.

To quote Morgan Webb on the X-Play review of Oblivion: "Say your goodbyes to your friends and family, you won't be seeing them for some time."
@ascii
tition I forgave you for not knowing about 4chan, but you damn well better know about Skyrim....

As you might have correctly guessed, I had no clue what is Skyrim...

If Randall Munroe were to make a "Computer game ages" strip, I wonder in which row would Skyrim end ...

Skyrim isn't out yet. >_> *cough* Unless I missed something.
@tition

It isn't out yet so I'm not sure where it'd land. Awesome comic by the way.

@firedraco

Ya, it isn't out yet, but I think it's fair to say that a lot of people are excited.
Also, any oldskool counter-strike 1.6 players here?
And please don't tell me were a dying breed :(
You are. CS:S is where it at yo! (and has been at for many years) Also I don't play counter strike. or counter strike source for that matter :P
Oh man, please do not bring CS:S up. It's NOT a counter-strike game. It plays like COD.
Also, compare the prize pots for cs 1.6 (€100.000+) to those of CS:S (€10.000)

EDIT: I'm not oldskool btw. I've only been playing it for 3 years.

Competitive TF2 > CS:S
BOOM!
^This. I agree with it.
Well, CS:S can get really really really repetitive after a while. Death on them for not having AS_... on CS:S, which was my favorite from 1.6.

Same goes with CoD, it gets boring with that low amount of maps that expands twice a year with 15$ map packs, and then they removed my favorite game type, the cage match, nothing in that game compares to the feeling of hearing the ambient sounds while hunting a single individual hunting you.

Probably just me, got tired of WoW too after a month too.

Oblivion was one of the few games that I've enjoyed in a long time (well, since I was a kid with my SNES).[1] I think what attracted me to it was how vast the world was. I like exploring.

Oblivion < Morrowind...if only because of the retarded (IMO) mob leveling...
It's coming back to Skyrim. I don't really hate the system but I wouldn't mind a rework.

Have you played Fallout 3? It had enemy level scaling, but it was nowhere near as bad as Oblivion's. Bethesda has said that they will be using a system similar to that of Fallout 3 in Skyrim.
I own Fallout 3 but I really dislike it. Mostly for the fact that you need DLC to continue after you beat the main quest which is something I didn't know before I beat the main quest.

It's a good game, but the ending ruins most of it for me.

I'm not sure if you watched that entire video from the link I posted previously, but the leveling system for individual skills looks so much more badass than Oblivion or Fallout. I wonder if I could get a review copy...

Yeah, the ending was pretty terrible, but everything leading up to it was Grade A Awesome. I had no problem continuing though..since I bought the GOTA edition o_0
You can play Skyrim after the main quest is completed and DLC will be much larger and less frequent which is fine with me.
