Then hope it looks better than the E3 showing. The tank demo looked very boring. I have faith in DICE but I doubt they'll be able to take a scratch at MW3.
I don't like Activision so I hope MW3 fails miserably and BF3 is the new top dog for a while. Something tells me that won't happen though...
I like CoD I just don't like Activision or Bobby Chotek. MW3 will probably get raving reviews. BF3 I'm still skeptical because I haven't seen any live gameplay that made me think that it could be the next AAA shooter.
Acer 1810T
OS: Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) installed in Czech 'cause I am trying to learn the language
CPU: 1.4ghz (Core 2 Solo SU3500: got no clue why the hell it is "solo" but has the number 2)
RAM: 2GB
HDD: 250GB
VGA: GMA4500MHD
From a quick google search, Core 2 Solo is a single core processor using the same architecture as the other Core 2 processors (hence the name). It probably appears to have 2 cores because of hyper-threading.
Definitely looking forward to BF3, but most of all Skyrim.
TES is the best RPG franchise for PC in my opinion. The theme song brings back soooo many good memories! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWuNf4gxwuM
It should be the one with Adam and Morgan talking to Todd Howard (I can't check it currently). If it is and you haven't seen it before prepare to have the mother of all nerdgasms.
king214, It's because they're rather different. CoD is fast paced, BF is more stratergic and more realistically paced. And most players online really suck at cooperating and/or simply behaving like decent human beings. MMOs are this + arcane terms, like WoW's 100 definition of 'ninja'.
As for Skyrim. I didn't like The Witcher 1, but gave the sequel a chance and liket it, so I will try Skyrim despite not liking Oblivion. Also the gameplay seems to have gotten better judging by the video above. It'll be way better than Dragon Age's sequel -- great sellout fail -- anyways.
Nobody liked the Witcher. I was very shocked to here the second one was good.
As for the TES series, they have changed greatly from one game to the next. Skyrim is supposed to bring back the exploration Morrowind was known for but Oblivion lacked.
Needless to say I feel like a schoolgirl I'm so excited.
I just installed Oblivion again last night. Many mod's installed as well. If steam's record keeping is accurate I've already put in more than 5 week's of game time since it came out.
