What is this?

All over the place (signs, blackboards at the college, money) I'm seeing "5/19/13 - expect us".... WTF is that supposed to mean??
I don't know. Weird, huh?

year 2013?
Yeah; apparently something is going to happen on the 19th of May 2013...
closed account (z05DSL3A)
It will be a boring day and nothing whatsoever will happen, 'cos the world will have ended in 2012 (according to some).
damn.. end of the world at 2012? :(

I wonder how would the world end..
Since the members of Earth Destruction Initiative didn't agree on how to destroy existence, they postponed the doomsday from 2012 to 2013.
Like the C++ ISO working group, when the release date approaches they delay it by an year or so. Earth destruction is a big challenge as well so it require some preparation.
The project of tuning the CERN LHC into a black hole has failed so they need to figure out something else
I'm fairly certain it's a /b/tard rally. (also to hell with rules 1 and 2)

@chrisname
I thought that was ultraman or power rangers or something like that.
My sources* say that it didn't crush us out of existence.

May 19th, 2013 is probably the day most rising sophomores this year expect to graduate. I know this because I'M in the class of 2013.

But the significance of this date outside of a graduation, I know not.
But Seraphimsan appears to be right.

Maybe it's that most /b/tards ARE rising sophomores. Wouldn't surprise me.
@chrisname so does underage'd b& and your profile would say your underage'd bro :P
@Seraphimsan,
No, that's a rule of 4chan, not the Internet. The rules of the Internet aren't like the rules of a website, they're more like the Laws of Science. Also, rule 8: "There are no real rules about posting".

@QWERTYman,
The actual event is not to do with graduation, although that may be how they chose that date. What are you graduating? If it's university, then I really doubt that most Ebaumsworld users are in university.
