I am trying to discern macro data from .log file.
i.e what IP address occurs most frequently.
Anyone know of a data sifting tool that would be useful with .log files? For windows 10

Is the log file in plaintext? Can you paste part of it? I don't know Windows logging too well, but the bulk of windows logging is viewable in the event log viewer, which I don't think stores data in ".log" files.
The extension of a file doesn't actually mean anything. "log" is a common extension used by many different programs to mean different things. Where are these *.log files originating from on your system? That might help narrow down if there exists a parsing utility already.
