It's My computer's first birthday

It's kaeda's, my most recent build, first birthday. What should I do for the little compilation of hardware?

also to answer some awkward questions.
1) Yes I name my computers, but only the ones I build, I'm sure some of you do too
2) Yes I remember the date I built it, it's funny how a photographic memory and receipts for part purchase can help with that stuff xD
I've never understood why people name inanimate objects... ah well, to each their own.

I guess you could buy a can of compressed air and do a dust-removal on it.
I've named my computers since my first build back in 02. I think it's like a bonding mechanism, the component, car, tv, fridge, what have you, means more to you if you name it, and thus you treat it better. That's how I see it, a way to trick my self into treating my pc better....as for most others? It's more then likely stupidity or just the bonding its self...possibly a combination of the two XD

that aside, That's one great idea. xD any others?

Buy it some new RAM :)
I remember reading a thread on some other forum about this guy who said:
some guy wrote:
My friend told me my comp needed more ram, anybody know a good site?

The title of the thread was "where can I dl some ram?"
wow tummychow...I seriously lol'd hard at that.
wow, I died a little inside reading that...i find it very fitting it was a mac forum though.
Depending on how hard you toss it, you can double the speed of your computer w/o adding RAM....

You sure to have a 'photographic memory'? Hard to believe, really.
Been tested. Yes I do.

edit: To be perfectly frank, If they haven't suffered recent head trauma everyone has a photographic memory. It's the ability to recall said memories that is a true gift.

From wikipedia:

Strong scientific skepticism about the existence of eidetic memory was fueled by Charles Stromeyer who studied his future wife Elizabeth, who could recall poetry written in a foreign language that she did not understand years after she had first seen the poem. She also could recall random dot patterns with such fidelity as to combine two patterns into a stereoscopic image.[2] She remains the only person to have passed such a test. However, the credibility of the findings about Elizabeth are highly questionable given that the researcher married his subject, and the tests have never been repeated. Elizabeth refused to repeat them.[3] In fact, it is this study that fueled strong skepticism about studies of eidetic memory for several decades thereafter. Recently there has been a renewal of interest in the area, with more careful controls, and far less spectacular results.
Why is it hard to believe? Out of all the users on this site, there's bound to be some with things like photographic memory, or autism, or what ever else. According to the Internet about 5% of people have it. I can't find a counter for how man accounts are registered here, but still...
ok, let me be more precise.

I hardly believe there is any person who has a 'photographic' memory and is socially capable enough to write in a forum. There are a bunch of people who memorize everything (at least in special areas) but these people are mostly to ill to use it for their sake - afaik.

But i am so often wrong in my oppinions. I'm glad if you can teach me better.

Why? I don't understand how having a true photographic memory => you're too ill to do anything useful.

It's not like having cerebral palsy (which, by the way, Eric Raymond has; and I'd say he's pretty smart).
