It is spam. Please don't respond to spam. It prevents the thread from being automatically deleted when someone reports it.

It doesn't matter. Once one person has responded to the spam post, then we have a thread that can't be easily deleted by reporting. After that, it doesn't really matter.
The moral of this story: Just don't respond to spam.

There are trolls here who report people for no good reason, so that might well have been it.
