64-bit Chrome

For those of you interested in 64-bit Chrome, it's currently available in Chrome Beta:

https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/beta.html

I'm currently running Google Chrome Version 40.0.2214.45 beta-m (64-bit) - so far everything is working fine.
I read an article on the comparison's of 32 and 64 bit.

Guess I'll download it.
Oh, I didn't realize it was out of beta! I'm using the beta version and there's a 64-bit release version apparently. Oh well.
I didnt know the windows version didnt provide 64bit support... Thats kinda embarrassing imo. Sadly, its not uncommon among software either...

Is it something with Windows that made it difficult?
It is the same 64-bit build (stable) on all platforms (well, on the BSDs, it is Chromium, but the build is the same: 39.0.2171.95). It has been so for the last four months.

Of the lot, my experience has been that the 64-bit version of Chrome runs more smoothly on Windows 8.1 than on any other platform.
