Python scripting language

I am pretty much new to python and I didnt understand why there is a python 'command line', and a python 'IDLE'. Or python 'GUI'. What are the differences between them?
And you're posting this on a C++ forum why?
Because C++ people know everything of course.
You're confused. Python is a programming language just like C++. Command line, IDLE (Python's built-in IDE) and GUI are just different ways to write and run Python code.

Ok. Thanks for the answers!

@AbstractionAnon-

From what I have seen in this forum, James2250 is definitely right.
Hey, what about the people in this forum: http://python-forum.org/board/aQgFn6ScPr7rBKY6k2r8VV/

I hope python-forum.org gets back on its feet. It was a good resource. Maybe I'll see you over there Hazique, just look for Pyrate.
