#ifdef SHOWADRESS

well im doing an assignment and i have to use the preprocessor directive #ifdef SHOWADRESS to turn verbose mode either ON or OFF. Basically it is to be used in a constructor to print the address of the object and all the attributes of it and also compute how much memory is used to store all the attributes.
Does anyone have any idea of #ifdef SHOWADRESS? I tried to google it but really cannot find anything about it.
