Happen to have Visual Studio Team Suite 2008. Just above complete novice status and write to inquire if one can find supportive guidance here. Have an idea for an education app and would want some guidance so that I can ultimately perform the basic tasks of a novice developer. Much thanks as I await a reply.

Start by updating to a compiler that is current.

For instance, Visual Studio Express 2013 is a free download.
