I have never done any of this, read a few tutorials and want someone to add to skype, aim, msn. So they can help teach me/program with. I run on a mac, live in the US, and really want someone to help me get started and learn. Thanks

take books, start programming.. leran simple to advanced things.
like pointers, file i/o, structs, classes, inheritance, polymorphism, templates, STL, threads a little. then data strucutres like stacks, queues, trees, sorting/searching. try to implement them.
create some programs , look on the net for some classical problems which you can try.
thats it.. you can take up a job in C++.
