CGI
I wasn't sure where to put this but I am a programmer for a website and I generally do HTML but I need a CGI bin I consulted the books but it said go find a programmer I don't know where to start I dabbled in C++ for a little while
so basically what I need is a script that upon getting information from the website (using forms) sends it to a database then emails the user and allows that user to log in

Just search for CGI scripts...google will return a ton of them. Perl is the first language that comes to my mind for such a script; C++ would not be practical.
