Qt Framework.
Can anybody recommend it. And will it make life easier to make a GUI? Books recommended? And last. Does it work with Borland. MSVC but haven't seen anything about Borland C++.
QT SDK comes with MinGW included, this is default compiler. Do not know if it works with Borland, as I do not use such outdated compiler, it is useless for me.

@Mordoran - Don't be confused, the borland compiler does still exist.
The borland name was taken over (years ago) and went through this change and that change
as everybody knows.
The company's name is now Embarcadero - and they do do a freesee note 1 downloadable compiler
called Borland (current version 5.5).
Their flagship product is the C++ Builder IDE which you probably know about.

1. The compiler may be free or it maybe a free trial - I can't rememver which.
Although if he is using something like Borland 3 the he is way out of date..

I'm using Borland C++ ver 5.03. Borland 3.1 was an old console driven one. Remember that one. That's long time ago. Ha Ha. Getting old.
