Want to start Win32 Programming

Well I have basic knowledge of C++ in terms of working with the console window, but I would like to learn how to program a Win32 Application. Could anyone point me in the direction of a good tutorial or offer me some advice?

You don't learn anything with tutorials (written by kids, not professional at all)
Read the Petzold, MSDN and comp.os.ms-windows.programmer.win32 newsgroup
frogger's tutorial and others are less than 1/10 of chapter 1 of Petzold...
