OpenCV2.2 with DevC++

I'd imagine from reading a lot of other posts that the title would give away the question... This could very well be something I'm missing but I can't seem to get Open CV working with DevC++.

I read on the OpenCV site that I had to build from makefiles and the recommended CMake doesn't work as instructed.

I'd like to be able to be more specific with an "I got here and then..." but I can't say I've gotten anything yet.

If anyone has had any success with OpenCV I'd love to hear from you.
