comctl32.dll corrupt file

Hi,

I tried to create a listview, however when I tried to link in the comctl32.dll it gave me a linker error LNK1107, that the file is corrupt or invalid.
I linked the file from system32.
How can I fix this?

EDIT:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Comctl32.dll : fatal error LNK1107: invalid or corrupt file: cannot read at 0x288

You may not have access to it. Are you running under and Admin account? You can get another copy if you download the Windows SDK.
