Good beginner tutorial/Lesson?

I have just completed a Introduction to C++ class and all we did was work in the console. I was wondering what are some good sites to help teach me win32 GUI coding.

In the tutorials they say I should get "Help Files". I think they mean documentation of the Win32 Library, but the only problem is that I have no clue where to get this. Can someone please help point me in the right direction?
