I am new to C program

I am currently using Putty in my class and using the Vi editor for this C class. My question is that when I save the program and want to compile then want to go back into the program to do more editing, my program became from C code to this kinda of code.. I do not know how it went to this but.. when I try to access my file it says that another file might be editing the same file you want to open. Then it asks me to swap files...its wierd so when this happens I always start over because I dont know what to do from there..Sorry I am still very new to C any help is awesome.

The file is in use is said when you were editing a file in vi and than again open the same file in a new vi session. Don't open multiple sessions of the same file.

the thing which you have posted looks to be compiled binary. Its not at all looking any kind of text file.

Secondly, don't post this in windows forum. This is not a windows problem. Post it in may be beginner's forum.
