wxDev-C++ error

Hello everyone, this is my first post on these foruns.
Maybe this is not the right place to ask for help for this context but my C++ won't compile (among other things).
When I open C++ all the mini-windows are scrambled. Here's a picture:

And when I try to put those windows where they belong I get this error:

Also this error happens pretty much everywhere. When I close c++, when trying to compile, etc, etc.

I reinstalled wxDev-C++ but this problem persists.

I got this when I downloaded a Fractions class from this site. I double-clicked on the .dev file. Since my pc didn't react promptly I double-clicked again and that was my first time I saw the scrambled window thingy.

Suggestions would be helpfull since I'm starting my second year in college and I was making some programs to skip tedious calculations..
You should report the bug and then switch to Code::Blocks.
I agree that you should switch to Code::Blocks. And yeah I am also aware of that bug, there's nothing you can do with it.
Yeah I already reported the bug.

So there's no way around this? I guess it's easier to just switch to Code::Blocks. Thanks for your advice.

Also, any big differences between the two? I'm still in my beginnings.
