*sigh* I know where you got that question from.

To answer the question, there is no default. You have to explicitly state whether you're passing by value or reference and it takes the same number of characters to do each.

Oh, sorry if my question was really wrong.

Im new to C++ and i was a vb.net programmer. (Thats where i got memorystream)

I was trying to find a way to store data in memory (Chat Room App) such as pictures. I didn't know the correct term for it.

PS: Im trying to do this with out .net
