Windows form error Visual Studio

I downloaded the newest version of Visual Studio, and I was creating a windows form. When I tried to open it, it gave me this error:

Invalid class string (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800401F3 (CO_E_CLASSSTRING))

I tried closing it and opening it again via project properties, but that did not help. I so far have no code.
