Monitor delay

Hi .. I have been doing some minor coding with c++, and I have a big project thats a bit hard.

I would like to make a half a second delay on the picture on a second monitor (like when you clone the desktop to a second monitor). and the primary monitor would ofc. display in realtime.

:-) i really don't know where to start.
