Compatibility of Borland C++ Builder 6.0 and Windows 8.1

Hello, I have been using Borland C++ Builder 6.0 Professional with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on my Mac via Bootcamp. Is this version of Borland C++ fully compatible with Windows 8.1? Is it advisable to get Windows 7 64-bit Professional instead?

Get windows xp if you want Borland C++ Builder 6.0 to run without issues. Or yes, windows 7 64-bit comes with "windows xp mode" (free download from Microsoft website).

Im using Borland C++ Builder 6 with WinXP from years and since few weeks Im using with Win8.1 and (for the moment) it work well.
Only issue, the HELP pressing F1 or CTRLF1 is not working, because the Win81 help handler is different from previous WinXP and do not find the files.
If someone have a solution,,, please share.

borland c++ is using win32 api, and since windows is backward compatible, everything should work as it did before.
