I am new to this group i was working in c++ environmet. i was know basic level of programs in c++(till some what in pointers) i was to gather more knowledge so kindly suggest some books and websites to learn more thanks in advance

"Effective C++" by Scott Myers is one possibility.
I would also look at "C++ Coding Standards" by Sutter and Alexandrescu
