Want to learn C++ on Unix/Linux

I know the C++ on Windows, but I want to learn on Unix/Linux platform, but i dont know anything about Unix/Linux. So please can you guide me from where I should start and which operating system I should download,Please give your valuable guidence as i am a biggner on this platform.

C++ itself does not change on different operating systems.
You may have some different libraries and tools but the language is the same.
