How To fix my linux and fix ubuntu

Hey guys I have my pc set up as a dual-boot pc with win 7 and ubuntu but get this my ubuntu worked till i tryed to boot into it yesterday i keep seeing the gnu grub ~ 1.95 beta terminal thing i really don't know what has happened in it but what can i do to fix this

but also what do i need to do and learn to create my own linux
