Idk why I didn't see that post until now, but you seem to be wrong about the ECS having anything to do with cancer suppression.

The wiki doesn't say anything about the ECS NOT being able to suppress cancer.
The ECS is also much more elaborate than the details just explained in the wiki.
The fact then, that the wiki article does not claim outright that the ECS has nothing to do with suppressing cancer is not evidence of it having no such role - as said wiki article is a very lean summary of ECS which doesn't cover the volumes of medical journals written about it.

You're right. Having looked at other pages, it does seem to be involved. Strange that no-one would think to put that on the Wikipedia page.
