Sorted circular linked list?
I remember one time this guy asked me how to code a "sorted circular linked list". I didn't really feel like answering, so I didn't, but about an hour later I thought to myself "wait. A sorted circular linked list? Is that even possible?"
Was I right and his teacher gave him a fool's errand or I missed something and there's actually a context in which such a thing makes sense? How do you even sort something without beginning or end?
