What is your favorite/least favorite piece program or program you helped make this is mainly for inspiration purposes for people (like me) who haven't made much game programs would be interesting but the other stuff(lol) is am inspiration for non-game programmers note:This is specific not your job your program ... also yout may make fun of co-workers who acted aggravating lol
Building a shopping simulator was one of my favorite games that I made for the TI calculators as well as in Javascript. It was a good way to learn the language as well as build something creative.
The only thing I've ever made was a simple calculator.
That's because I'm a fail.
Every single one of my projects I start never gets finsihed. I've treid to make about 30 games, (a mixture of C++, QUEST and GML), i started building sites, but I always get bored at some point, stop, and then start a new project...
My more "favorite" code I've wrote is certain things like. An AI that checks all the possible outcomes in a games map - quickest pathways to its destination / target. And uses the best one it can find. Not really much to it - But I love design stuff in those terms.
Other than that, I love using all different ways to blit what ever I'm doing.
The most useful program I've written so far is a wallpaper switcher for Windows. Close behind are Windows versions of md5sum, sha1sum, and crc32sum. I'm a little disappointed in myself for not being able to implement the SHA-1 and MD5 algorithms. I did manage to implement CRC-32, though.
The program I'm the most proud of is a Unicode-enabled, cross-platform VN engine clone I finished (not completed) in late December. I learnt a lot both writing it and releasing it, and the result is, at least in my eyes, truly great. 17k LOC (not counting headers, comments, empty lines, or the humongous [131k+ lines by itself] Shift JIS-to-Unicode conversion table) of beauty.
No, your codes may be anywhere from HTML to binary lol I'm happy that I have more experienced people here bye the way MMZJSFMMX10MM Where did you get your name from?
In case you haven't already seen the answer or anyone else is wondering what my screen name means:
"I created my name about five years ago and have just stuck with it. It is basically an acronym. The MM stands for Mega Man. JSF are my initials and 10 is my favorite number."
@MMZJSFMMX10MM - You wouldn't happen to be at the age of around 17ish. Your name reminds me of someone from a couple of years back I use to play online games. You use to make a lot of sprites for me :)
The guy I met was through playing tfc - Team Fortress Classics. I could be wrong though. It may have been age of empires 2 or counter strike. Something in the lines of that haha.
