Purple & green on dark grey? Looks a bit annoying, to be honest.

On a related note: what's actually better on the eyes, light text on dark background or darker text on a light background? I've never found a light-on-dark theme I liked [after I past the age of 8 and got over the whole "RED ON BLACK = AWESOME" phase].
That makes my eyes bleed.
Well, I'm still working on colours. But what about the sidebar? That's what i like most.
You mean having the buttons vertically instead of horizontally? I guess it's a matter of preference, but I'm used to having it horizontally. Since it's that way in every application, I don't really see any benefit to changing it.

The only thing I changed about my theme is that user-defined keywords (variables, typenames, etc.) are bold. For some reason, the font-changer is faster than IntelliSense (or whatever makes those squiggly underlines), so it allows me to spot typos instantly.

Also, I change the colour of commented code regularly. Once I start comment-abusing, I get depressed because of the mess I've made; changing the colour tricks me into noticing it less.
