Grew tired of Scream by part 3 and have no plan or intention to watch Scream 4. To me it feels like Wes Craven is trying to relive his Nightmare on Elm Street success with Scream.
I have yet to see a horror movie that didn't suck.
With the exception of comedic horrors, like Army of Darkness.

I tried watching Evil Dead 2 but couldn't get into it. AoD might have spoiled me.
People I've talked to said AoD is the best of the 3. Would you say the same?

Yeah, it was the best of the 3 but that is like comparing an indie game made by a small group to a commercial game. ED 1 and 2 both were made low budget while Army of Darkness was made after Campbell and Raimi had made it big. Campbell and Raimi are making an Evil Dead remake where the lead is a female this time.
