Proxies

@Computergeek01 Post 1: At our school, you can enable and disable the proxy settings at will, however if you choose not to connect through the proxy you cannot access any website what so ever. Not even in another browser. ;p
@LB: That's the tough one, what their doing is blocking all traffic unless it goes through a specific port which their proxy filter is redirecting to. When they do this they will often be recording all outbound traffic since they know what port to watch. Were you looking for ways around this one?
Unfortunately, all my posts were done in the last 20 minutes of my class, which I won't have again until monday. I may be able to try and snag a computer for 5 minutes tomorrow, but it's highly unlikely. Is everyone ok with suspending my issues until Monday?

EDIT: I lied. I'll be in a computer lab tomorrow with a portable chrome.

@Computergeek01 I'm not trying to get around the proxy, what would I do? The only thing I would want to access that is blocked is my personal website (it's blocked because of games that I had on it years ago which are now gone)

I just thought about this and was wondering. Does this mean you've seen or followed some of my other threads? Just wondering because I've seen your name a few times in larger threads and I know that I at least consider you among the most knowledgeable. I'm actually surprised you would check such low thread.

Also, what exactly do you mean by this quote? I can probably guess, but sometimes it's just better to hear it from the source.
Portable chrome didn't work, so the program must be embedded in the network. This is the running content dump Computergeek01 asked for.

I've already used other proxies. I'm looking for a different solution. Easy solutions don't teach you anything and don't make you think.

EDIT: Sorry if I've offended. I understand you're trying to help, but I don't want an easy solution.

I think your biggest problem atm is MasterEye (MeSuAx.exe)

http://mastereye-xl.software.informer.com/

but that's just my opinion

EDIT: granted, I don't know much about networks, but wouldn't master eye still allow the admin to see what you're doing, even with an internet proxy?

Checked out the website. That does seem like it may be a problem, but it's only for monitoring or controlling the coputer with another computer. The question is what's on the network that blocks sites, and how do we (me with help from people on this forum) get past it. It will definitely be a model for other similar issues later on.
What I meant by that was simply any problem that you have enough initiative to focus on and solve will lead to you learning something, this type of thing should be encouraged. It's odd that Chrome didn't work since it's loaded into memory eight times, this tells us that it's not being blocked out right but something is stopping the window from rendering. A few things you could try are copying Chrome to the desktop and running from there, or rebooting the PC to see if it's just Windows being funny.
This is the school trying to block me out. It's not a problem outside school, but I can't go everywhere inside school. It doesn't matter if I get to facebook anymore, but I'd still like the knowledge whether I ever use it or not.
I've gone through the list of running processes you posted and none of them seem to be anything filter-related (at least, according to Google.) I found a few more pages with info on MasterEye, and it looks more likely that that is what's blocking/filtering everything.
Examples:
MasterSolution Reflect lists all applications used on every Windows PC. You receive an overview as to when each application
was started and ended.
In addition, MasterSolution Reflect provides information on the actual activity and usage time.

Where applications are to be made available for all users only during specified times, or applications can be used only
by selected users/departments, access can be restricted.

MasterEye monitors all network activities and activities at each individual PC. Where changes to collected data or
predefined conditions are identified, a real time report in the form of an alarm
is produced. For example, you receive information on:

•Newly connected systems
•Changes to hardware and software
•Exceeding of licence limits
•CPU or network load
•Deactivation of virus protection
•USB activations
•...
I understand that MasterEye has a lot to do with the computers, but this isn't controlling the computers. It's loaded onto the network and block websites. I don't think MasterEye actually monitors and blocks websites(based off what you're showing me). I think it monitors the computer programs currently in use, and blocks programs that are running that shouldn't be.
Maybe try generating a tasks.txt file without the browser running, then open internet explorer (or whatever browser your school uses) and generating another tasks.txt, and check if there are any 'new' processes running?
Does Windows have an equivalent to diff?
I don't know.

@atropos: Maybe, but it'll have to wait till Wednesday, and it'll take up a lot of space. I'm pretty sure that the problem is on the network and not running in the computer's drive, so it probably wouldn't show up in a tasklist anyways. Just a guess though. I know next to nothing about this.

@ chrisname: Yup, it's "comp": http://ss64.com/nt/comp.html
Do I need to use "comp" for something?
You could use it for comparing two different tasks.txt files.
