I didn't try it out... because it leaks memory.

The outlining makes it a lot less cryptic. I suggest obfuscating your variable names a bit more.

I'm confused. You create a thread, post code with no comments, insulting formatting, misleading type-names, a memory leak, mixed C & C++ code, and complete with no
return from
main() . It just goes to show just how bad formatting can get.
You
really didn't have to.

It print's Hello one character at a time by using type-casting, classes, and pointless expressions. What's my reward?
On a side note, your code doesn't work properly. If you change the value of anything, the code falls apart. Is that one of the rules?

Not saying the OP's code was a perfect example of OCC, but there are some true gems on that website.

No sense of humour, Framework?

I'm gonna make it print 'Hello World.'

@Chrisname: I do, but it doesn't mean I have to laugh at everything. I didn't even realise it was supposed to be funny.

@OsiumFramework,
I didn't think it was funny either, I was just pointing out that you didn't realise it was a joke.
@Is909,
Try Valgrind (might be Linux-only, I'm not sure).

@ls909: you're going to need a lot more for IOCCC. Take a look at the winners. They do much, much more than a few odd typedefs and removing newlines.
