I remember watching it on Cartoon Network religiously and it felt so cool at the time *cringing*.

I don't care what anyone says... it is cool. Yeah it goes overboard with the power-up scenes, but overall DB/DBZ were amazing.

And it never really takes itself too seriously, which is how you get those golden moments like the above links.


EDIT:
Another golden moment, which I doubt I'll find a clip of, is during the World Martial Arts Tournament in DBZ (before Babidi is introduced). A voice on the loudspeaker gives a message to the participants and it's totally someone doing a bad JFK impression. Gets me rolling every time.

It's not as good as DBZ, but it made me laugh a lot, so I figured it's ok to post here
