I know this is a C++ forum, but this is the lounge after all, so here goes:
I am currently developing an SFML Air Hockey Game, and I'm having trouble doing Collision Resolution. I'm not sure how to start, and I have no-whatsoever (I'm 12) knowledge of Trigonometry. I'm trying to make the mallet hit the puck and bounce around, like regular Air Hockey.
You'd have to know analytical geometry for this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analytical_geometry)- the Wikipedia page likes to make it look more complicated than it is though. You should ask your math teacher about books on the subject.
