Dev C++ back from the dead

Just came across this blog post:
http://orwellengine.blogspot.com/

I'm too busy to take a close look right now, but what do we think?

Wow- I'm not going to download it, I like my C::B but good find!
I like my C::B too ;) I never liked Dev C++. Just thought it was interesting if it's come back to life after so many years.

Ah... it's time for me to update my article. Rather, it will be once the official page is updated.

Yes. Seeing as this appears not to be associated with the original DevC++ site, many people will doubtless still get the version from 2005. Phew. For a moment I thought we were going to have one fewer thing to shout at newbies for :L
DELETED: I realized that I was starting a "My IDE is better then your IDE" flame war.

What's with this obsession for death? I'm surprised we don't have a McCarthy thread yet.

Anyway I've been using the Orwell version since 5.0.0.3. Has a few rough edges but works fine.

Why use this version over Wx-DevCpp ?
I use C::B and MSVC Express tools. I've grown tired of DevCpp in both its forms regular and Wx. I don't see him give any credit to bloodshed or any of the original team on his blog, which makes me question his motives.
Thanks for the find Xander314, will just take a look at it
