What would the be the best choice for making a UI?
I want to make a UI in C++, but theres quite a few different frameworks out there, I also dont want to be limited to just making UI's for Windows, I want to be able to easily port them to *NIX platforms, or develop the UI's between the UI's, any suggestions are welcome.
Qt seems to be one of the most popular. I've also heard wxWidgets is good.

its no problem, I've heard good things about both, but I seam to be taking more of a liking to Qt, help is very much apreciated
Well considering Qt is used in embedded applications like phones (I think Nokia used it in their old cellphones) and others that dont have 512MB of storage let alone 15GB, I'm assuming something went wrong on your setup :P
I tried using the web installer and it keeps telling me that I dont have enough room for the temporary files, but im downloading the offline installer now since its only a gig and a half, Im hoping it works how its supposed to and doesnt give me the same error
Development with Qt requires some pretty decent space.
