What kind of website should I create?

I work as a web tech for my mothers online store http://www.daisiecompany.com
(you wont be interested in anything on that site.)
So she has an extra domain name and a server she paid for and isn't using so she let me take over it and do whatever the hell I want with it. She offered to give me all her old store products and I could use them as free content and use ads to produce income. The more I look at this idea the less likely it seems like it will work. Even if she advertised it from her site and newsletter.
My question is what else could I do, it doesn't have to be a store.
(Also don't mock my site, I only spent a couple hours on it.)
