Anyone know of a /good/ free Access DB fixer?

A friend volunteered me to fixed a mangled .mdb file (power failure). I have determined that the file can be fixed by using some demo software but the friend of a friend does not want to stump up for the tool to repair it. The most that is in it for me is a bottle of wine, so I'm not inclined to buy to tool (or spend to much time on fixing it).

If I were you, I'd look for a good torrent of a commercial mdb fixer, download it, fix the file, delete
the mdb fixer, and then ask for two bottles of wine because the whole process was really exhausting.

Two small problems with that, I don't trust torrents and I don't trust cracked software but apart from that, a good plan. :0)

oh and I'm apposed to software theft and...
Support the flipping pirates, dawg gammit!

Jokes aside, the best freeware MDB repair tool I could find with a bit of elementary Googling was this:
http://www.datapigtechnologies.com/downloads/dpat.exe

Happy compacting.

Thanks Albatross but datapig requires a 32-bit version of Access (I don't have).

I have done a bit of elementary Googling and downloading hopefuls, I'm not asking for people to Google on my behalf only if you already know of a good tool.
Oh.

In that case, since I'm trying to distance myself from M$, I wouldn't know of any tools. Sorry :(

+1 and a few more for good measure
I don't trust torrents and I don't trust cracked software
Security-wise? How about a VM, then?
