Kind of "old" (come out last week sometime I think) but I've been messing around with Eclipse 3.7 "Indigo" the past couple of days and I've been extremely impressed with the improvements made on it's C++ tools.
It now supports the Visual C++ compiler if it's installed in your system, better error detection/highlighting and tool-tip hints, and many other things that I haven't had time to tinker with yet.
I've been an avid Netbeans user for a long time, but this Eclipse release is fantastic.
