Intel Compiler
Anyone on here use the Intel compiler? Know if it's any good?
It's obviously way out of my price range, but I thought I might try their beta

It's alright. I've found it doesn't perform any better than VC++ if the code is heavily hand-optimized, though.
As with everything, the performance will depend heavily on the application. I imagine a program that does a lot of number crunching will benefit from its optimizations.
