Hi guys!
So, I'm relatively new to programming, specifically C++.
I've taken the beginning course to C++ that our community college offered, but sadly the class was often canceled and now that I'm in the intermediate course to c++ (2nd Semester to it) I find that I'm a bit confused.
I would love to add someone on MSN, who maybe is willing to help me. (Maybe even through teamviewer) Although our instructor does a great job explaining everything, there's a lot of information I found that I've missed out on, because of the lack of class from the previous semester.
I would just love some help explaining the concepts and such, it's nothing like "do my programming for me", I want to be able to figure out everything, but it seems like Google and the textbook can only go so far.
I'd be grateful for some small help, if not it's alright, everyone has their own things going on in life, completely understandable.
My MSN is: texanbabenv@hotmail.com
Add me if you'd like, thanks for reading!
I'd be more than willing to help out! But before adding you I strongly suggest checking out the tutorials on this website ( found here: http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/ ). They're a great way to get started on the language, and are a pretty good supplement for your beginner and intermediate lectures.
IMO the best way to overcome this (inability to use Google and/or textbooks more efficiently) is to seek a classmate who's in the same boat and become his/her study partner, the next best thing is to join a study group and lastly try to approach the instructor. Online chatting or tutoring via Skype is really unproven (I think) and should be avoided.
I would tend to agree with xander337: try the tutorials first as they will probably answer all your questions. I would, however, happily answer a few questions by email if you prefer that to the forums for whatever reason, sfmlcoder@gmail.com.
Thank you guys!
I've been reading through the tutorials, and they've answered a couple of my questions, although I still have some. I'll email / talk to on MSN, those who added me. Thanks, again.
