Blocked Firewall Programs

Sorry to bring up such an unrelated topic, but i was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to use windows firewall to block a programs internet acess.

I am using halo trial as a test. and nothing i do works. I have tried to uncheck it from the list. and blocked it from the advanced security tab. Yet when I press Multiplayer it still connects just fine.. Any help would be appreciated.
The way you're going about it is blocking incoming connections not outgoing. I'll see if I can come up with something.
Do you have Admin access to your router? The easiest way to do it in my opinion would be to use "TCP\IP Viewer" from Mark Russianivich's Sys Internals suite to see where it is connecting to (if you don't already know) and block that connection at your router, or if you can't block it there for some reason set the lookup entry for that item to loop back.

That's of course if you can't get Windows Firewall to do it. I gave up on using it a long time ago personally but maybe you'll have better luck then me.
