Well, guess there's nothing I can do about it since the internet must be broken, right? I thought it was a bit funny.

Looks like one slipped by Microsoft's to-do list before shipping Win7.

It does make sense if you read it fully, but the way it's positioned makes it awkward.

It says that the connection between you and the Internet is broken...
It says that the connection between you and the Internet is broken...

Doesn't it say "and the internet is broken" in addition to saying somthing about the connection?

"The connection between your access point, router or cable modem and the Internet is broken"
The subject of "is" is "connection"
I didn't know there was anyone with worse english than mine on these forums - I feel relieved ^^

*cough*
The funny thing is that even though this message is rather unambiguous, the internet is rather "broken" when one considers the type of activity on most social networking sites. :/

I just hope they do not discover www.googlegooglegooglegoogle.com then we will all be done for.

Seriously though my favorite error of all time will always be "Keyboard Error Press F1 To Continue". But this is a funny over sight, did it survive the first Service Pack?
I once got an error from GTA IV that it could not connect to the Internet, and it told me to go to a website to try and resolve the issue. I think I posted an image here.
