I wrote a library for tty I/O with Bash to make using colours and moving the cursor easier.

I'm pretty pleased with it, it seems to work*. Tell me what you think. What needs fixing? What should I add?

*It might not work properly if you try to use it interactively, so I wrote a shell script to show its features. There is a screenshot included.

Edit: cursor positioning code doesn't seem to work for the x-co-ordinate, so I'll probably have to use a nasty hack.
