CoDevz Forum

What is Codevz?
Codevz is a web forum aimed at people who do all kinds of programming, both software and website. It currently has sub forums for 12 branches of coding so that you can easily get the information and help you need. Other than it's help forums Codevz has places to post, share and and coordinate on collaboration projects for example having a team of coders work together on a piece of software or on a game.

The Future
In the future i'd like to make the site a place where you can learn a language from scratch by adding both written and video tutorial showing how to learn a language starting with no prior experience. Articles in subjects like C++ have started going up on our Tutorial HUB.

Spreading the word
Even if the site itself doesn't appeal i would appreciate it if you could spread the word to people who you think might be interested. you could do this as simply as adding this video to your favourites: http://youtu.be/CtdDSzwbEK8 or by re-tweeting this message: http://twitter.com/#!/ActionStudios/status/33652732590039040

Donations
Even though the site is new I'd like to build upon what I have in order to make the site even better and more well known, one of the things that can help me do this is donations, even if it's only a little amount i can put it to good use, for more info see: http://codevz.com/index.php?/donate/

Thanks for reading.
Looks interesting, what niche have you found that needed filling? What isn't already accomplished by other sites?

I'm liking the site's theme! I've created an account. My username: Sytheware( Sytheware or Sythe are used frequently in my code to mark the code's ownership, just so you know. )
Nice to have you with us, like i've said the forum is fairly new, so one of the major things we're looking for is content. So if you've got something to post it's be gladly appreciated.

What sort of validation scheme is up for code submissions? It seems like a big section of the site is for code snippits, and without proper quality control, a lot of bad practices could be readily available for new programmers (students in particular) to Copy&Paste out of there and into their minds forever. :-\
At the current post rate i check all the posts to make sure they're legit and useful. In future i'll be looking for specialist moderators to manage certain sections and make sure everything being taught is correct.
