not getting email from site

Hey, guys -

Not sure where to report this, but...the email notifications of thread replies isn't working for me. (It used to.) Any idea what I should look at?

Also...this site has some funny-looking graphics in Firefox. A lot of the command buttons and pull-downs are malformed.

Thanks.
I can't speak for the notifications, except to say re-check your settings. It's possible the administrator has changed some of internal workings with the recent forum update.

What do you mean? I use Firefox as well, and haven't had any issues with the graphics. Any add-ons that could be causing the problem?
Here's a couple of examples of what part of my window looks like:

What settings should I check for my email?
The malformation might be due to your resolution being set too low. Although I think the Admin would be happy to know about this, it is also something that you may be able to fix on your side if it gets to be too troublesome.
My screen resolution is probably bigger than most; in any event, it's certainly enough to support virtually all web pages I come across.

It looks better when I disable the font-size: 9px for the css style (main29b.css, line 118). Maybe they could look at changing that...
That is definitely not a 9px size you have there. Possibly it's a Mac thing? (It looks like you are using a Mac.) I'm just guessing here, but perhaps the browser is thinking 9px is "too small" and automatically enlarging it or something?

Possibly it's a Mac thing?

No problems here...
Well, anyway...the big deal is that I'm not getting notifications of replies from you fine people. Can anyone tell me what's going on with that?

Thanks...
For kicks, I subscribed to this thread. We might as well have a sample size of three...

This is a test post.
Okay, nothing. My Apple Mail isn't working properly as a result of this OS X system being a bit more unstable after 1 year than my previous Vista machine, but I specifically went to mail.google.com on Chrome to check if I got anything. I didn't. :/

Interesting, worked for me. Using Hotmail on a Windows 7 system.
You suppose gmail has this site blocked for some reason? I'm using gmail, too.

OHO! Just for kicks, I went to my spam folder on gmail.com. There was one message in there (on another topic). I clicked "not spam" and got EIGHT emails on that topic.

So...

1. gmail is spamming messages from this site (at least for me)
2. gmail doesn't show you all your spam in the folder
3. I still am doing something wrong, since I'm not getting notifications about *this* thread. I'll try subscribing again.

It should have at least placed it in a spam folder, if anything. It does have "automated" in the sender's address.
Ah, nuts. Why did Google have to move the Spam folder to a place where I couldn't immediately see it?

Yes, the message ended up in the spam folder.

A recent update also changed the site's IP, and that may have affected gmail's spam filter.
The new IP has been added to the SPF mail policy, so it shouldn't take too long before gmail notices this and whitelists the new server.
Wow! I've been a member here for a long time (couple years) and never even knew we were to get emails of replies! I'll have to check my spam folder at my isp. I bet its been blocking them!
I imagine you only get e-mails if you subscribe to the topic. If you haven't done that, then you shouldn't have received any e-mails.
